There’s power in music. It can transcend borders, ethnicities, and language. It brings people together and opens our hearts.
On October 10 at 7PM ET, our classically trained performers will share their talents in a live-streamed concert from NYC to raise money for the International Rescue Committee to assist with their work mitigating the global refugee crisis.
Almost 80 million people have been forcibly displaced from their homes due to persecution, war, or natural disasters around the world in the past year alone. We have chosen to fundraise specifically for the International Rescue Committee because of their work in over 40 countries to provide clean water, shelter, health care, education and empowerment support to refugees and displaced people around the world.
Over the past four years, Recital for Refugees has brought musicians together to raise their voices to spread awareness and compassion for this devastating humanitarian crisis. We will continue to sing until everyone finds a place to call home.
All donors will receive the link via email to the virtual recital 24 hours prior to showtime.
