Help us support our homeless neighbors during this time of need.
#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
"A Resting Place" is facing the challenge of helping our neighbors. We still try to serve our homeless neighbors with giving food, water, clothing, and hygiene needs while keeping them and volunteers safe thru safety practices and social distancing.
We still need donations of snack foods, peanut butter, jelly and bread, bottled water, clothing and hygiene products. Call Pastor Deb at 717-682-1873 to schedule a time to drop off donated items to help the homeless.
Every day, our committed volunteers work to support our homeless neighbor community we serve. Our organization is committed to ensuring that our homeless neighbors have a place to rest during the day, have something to eat, and are given clothes, hygiene products and a listening ear and a hug. During the coronavirus crisis they have not been able to come in to rest, but we still try to give them what they need.
We kindly ask that you join us in supporting our homeless neighbors. They come to us saying they are hungry. Your gift will help provide immediate essential food support and other supplies. Help keep our neighbors safe and healthy so they can eventually return to "A Resting Place" and receive the help they need.
If we reach our fundraising goal of $1000 by May 5, 2020, it may be matched with a $1000 by #GivingTuesdayNow until their funds of $350,000 runs out.
