We are excited to announce that Rescue Pit will be participating in the 2018 Saving Pets Challenge! This will be Rescue Pit’s fourth consecutive year participating; it is by far our biggest online fundraising effort of the year and we need your help to make 2018 even more successful. Last year we made almost $7,000 with this simple fundraiser and we would love to do even better this year!
At Rescue Pit, we are committed to our dogs for the duration of their life time and as such, funds raised through this campaign are essential for ensuring that we are financially capable of providing for their needs as long as they are in the rescue.
In order to be a financially stable and sustainable rescue, we strive to have at least $500 earmarked for each dog before we accept them into the rescue. Certain medical cases require a higher financial commitment but we hope with your help to be able to help provide vet care for sick or injured dogs from our local shelters. Every dollar is one step closer to being able to help our local homeless dogs!
This year we will be launching a new effort to help dogs stay in their homes instead of going to a shelter or rescue. We will be sponsoring a “Community Fund” through our local veterinarians to assist dog owners with otherwise cost prohibitive veterinary care for their beloved companions.
Thank you so much for donating and/or sharing our campaign, without you we could not continue to do what we do!
