Preschool of the Arts is now in our eighth week of closure. Every day, we miss school. We wish we could all be together, singing songs in the music studio, making artwork, exploring and learning together. We miss all our capable and creative children, and we can't wait to see how much you've all grown! While we are not ready to reopen quite yet, we are working on a plan for reopening. Whenever we are able to reopen, this new world has new rules, and PSA will have to comply with the CDC guidelines to ensure that all our children and staff are staying safe and healthy.
In order to reopen, PSA will need to purchase some supplies, and we will need to rehire staff to prepare the building for children. Staff will need to put in a lot of hours cleaning the building and reorganizing it to accommodate our new rules. We need to purchase supplies, such as non-contact thermometers. We're hoping to have a non-contact thermometer for each classroom, and at around $100 each, that's $1,500 alone.
We’re looking for your support as we navigate this new world of child care. Please consider including PSA in your #GivingTuesdayNow donations. So many organizations are struggling to find our footing in our new reality, and we appreciate any donation, no matter how small.
Wishing love and health to all our families, friends and alumni! We will get through this together.
