Remembering Georgie

 As promised my pledge to continue.... I am a proud participant of the first Jefferson City Tunnels 2 Tower 5k Run & Walk which occurred in 2016. An invitation from my son-in-law Sean a member of the Jefferson City Fire Department was the start of an amazing experience. Each year I focus my volunteer time with charities that support families and first responders. I do this in memory of my youngest son, George, who I lost in a tragic accident in May of 1997. I promised Georgie that I would create a legacy in his name and leave a foot print on this earth for him. As a result, Remembering Georgie has become the vehicle by which I focus my time and talents for the benefit of others. My conviction to support Tunnels to Towers Foundation has only increased since 2016. My oldest son Joe and my nephew Tommy both currently serve active duty in the United States Air Force. This year I am pleased to return as a participant. I will put my best foot forward and run in this years Jefferson City Tunnels to Towers 5K Walk & Run taking place on September 15, 2018. I am launching my fund raising campaign on July 26, 2018, Georgie's 22nd birthday. There is no better day for me to begin this campaign. This is truly my labor of love. The funds collected by the Stephen Siller Foundation are used to support first responders who have suffered catastrophic injury as a result of their service, as well as providing much needed resources to their families.  I humbly ask that you help me to Remember Georgie, and leave his footprint, by considering a contribution to this event.
