Reilly was diagnosed, with cystic fibrosis, in 2011, at the age of 4 years old. He has always been very active, playing multiple sports, including soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and his true love ice hockey. He has been playing, e hockey since he was 4, as well.
Reilly's Rock Stars have participate i Run To Breathe since 2012, 8 mths his diagnosis. Reilly participated for the first time at the age of 7, in 2014. Being one of the youngest finishers with CF. We've only missed last year, as it was an important milestone for Reilly's grandparents, and we couldn't be in the city that day.
Reilly was thrilled to be named Team Boomer's June 2017, Workout Warrior of the month.
This past week (January 16), Reilly had his first hospitalization since his diagnosis. He tested positive for the flu, with his body fighting so hard to breathe and tto fight his fever, he asked to go to the hospital. His CF team felt it would be better for him to stay. Luckily, he is on the mend, and looking forward , to participating in Run to Breathe once again.
