While we are incredibly appreciative of you helping us fill our home and enjoy some amazing adventures on our honeymoon, it is the people in our lives that are our greatest gifts. In late October 2018 [several days after I found my wedding dress], my dad was dignosed with Multiple Myloma and Amyloidosis. We were devastated, but have been constantly amazed by his incredible strength, endurance, and optimism through it all.
Advancements in treatment-specifically the option of a Stem Cell Transplant- have made it possible for us to find a path toward better health and remission. Without organizations like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, advancements like this would be impossible. Thanks to the wonderful work they have done, the team of doctors on our side, and the support of each and every one of you, we know that before long Dad and I will be walking down the aisle together as he gives me away to Danny [be prepared to witness his stellar dance moves for our father daughter dance]!
We would be honored if you would consider donating [any amount] to this life changing organization that has impacted our family, and countless others, so deeply. Every little bit helps come one step closer to finding the cure! Cancer sucks. With the efforts of LLS and similar organizations, hopefully one day we will no longer know how true that statement is.
