Hello friends and loved ones!
The French Culture Club is a campus organization at Washington College located in Chestertown Maryland. This club is dedicated to raising awareness about refugees and asylum seekers. Through this dedication, we establish this fundraiser to help the IRC-Baltimore in resettlement of refugees and aslyum seekers in central Maryland.
The International Rescue Committee opened an office in Baltimore in 1999, and since then, this office has resettled over 14,000 refugees, asylees, victims of trafficking, Special Immigrant Visa holders and parolees (humanitarian immigrants) to central Maryland. Every donation to this fundraiser goes directly to help restore and rebuild the lives of many peole that have been uprooted and destroyed by conflicts and disasters. No amount is ever too small. Thank you for your generosity!

The International Rescue Committee, Inc. (IRC) helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to people forced to flee from war or disaster. At work today in over 40 countries and 25 U.S cities, we restore safety, dignity and hope to millions who are uprooted and struggling to rebuild their lives.
