Tyler Reed is the Site Leader at GE Aviation, where he oversees the operations for the Asheville rotating parts facility, which produces high complex components that support GE’s commercial and military aircraft engines.
Tyler is a transformational and accomplished leader with 12+ years of supply chain experience in the aviation industry. He has a proven record of strong global leadership, successful execution of business strategy, process improvement, and strategic vision. Experience leading teams of up to 800 employees with a lean transformation mentality and a focus on innovation that fuels sustainable growth.
Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, as well as an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. As a lung cancer survivor, he is passionate about supporting organizations that fight against cancer. He enjoys hiking, brewing, and traveling. He lives in Asheville with his wife Allie and 2-year-old daughter Reagan.
