Give your donations to the reconstruction of flood-affected schools in the villages of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and help save the education process of the underprivileged children from being washed away with the flood. Your generosity will assist the child to continue their education and become a learned adult and help his/her family and people out of the perpetual injustice of poverty and oppression.
Every year, many cities in Pakistan struggle to cope with the annual monsoon deluge. This year the season has brought floods in many parts of the country again especially in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, swelling up rivers, damaging crops and infrastructure, and posing threats to lives. According to the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), heavy rainfall and ensuing flooding affected the districts of Mirpur Khas, Tharparkar, Karachi, Badin, Thatta, Hyderabad, Chhor, and Tando Jam in Sindh. Flash floods have been ravaging parts of KP after the province received monsoon rainfall severely affecting the districts of Chitral, Swat, Shangla, and Upper Kohistan.
In these floods, three schools of TAKMIL in three different areas of Mirpurkhas , and one school in Jamrud, Khyber District, KP got damaged completely. The schools were already in poor conditions and could not have sustained in floods. We need to reconstruct four disaster-resilient schools that will ensure the undisrupted education for the underprivileged children in the future. Help TAKMIL in saving the future of the affected children by donating to the reconstruction of the schools - so the children can resume schooling as usual.
What do we need from you?
We need your financial support in the reconstruction of the destroyed schools.
While the government is working to the best of its capability to respond in the current economic environment, additional support for the education of the children is critically needed.
The need to help the underprivileged children now is ever high as they initially did not have any access to education and when they were provided the opportunity, first COVID-19 and then the floods have completely halted their education. Help us in putting these children back in the education system.
How much do we need?
The cost of reconstruction of one school is $1000 and we need to reconstruct four such schools which will require a total amount of $4000.
We are painfully aware that this is a difficult time for many of you reading this due to the ongoing pandemic. That said, is there an amount you could give that wouldn’t cause you any significant stress?
$30 per person if received from 25 persons can fund the reconstruction of one school.
Please donate what you can comfortably afford to, and kindly share this message directly with people you know who could help.
Let's together help the underprivileged children of flood victims resume their schooling session as usual.
