Rudy Watt honorably served our country in the United States Army selflessly giving all for us. It's time we gave back to him. On December 2, 2019 Rudy received a phone call that his house was on fire and his dog was still inside. Only a few blocks away, Rudy ran home to find his house in a 2-alarm fire burned beyond repair. Fortunately, his dog was able to escape and was located a few streets away. Now homeless, Rudy did not complain instead, when interviewed by the news, he reminded us that a house, “That can be rebuilt. A life can’t be regained, We just gotta do what we need to.”
Rudy continues to serve through the LCpl Janos V Lutz Live To Tell Foundation as a member of Lutz Buddy Up. He provides peer support to fellow members and other local veterans in South Florida. Being more than just a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen, Rudy actively volunteers for therapeutic activities and community-building events benefiting military & first responders some of which are coping with Post-Traumatic Stress after service.
Rudy signed a blank check to the US Army and was willing to give all for our safety & freedom. It's time we repay that sacrifice and sign a check to Help Rebuild for Rudy! Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to repairs, furnishing, and replacing items lost in the fire.
