For the first year since I started working at North Star Reach we are not able to offer camp for "our" campers. Due to CoVid 19, our CEO had to make the difficult decision to cancel Family Camps and all Summer Camps for our kids with Epilepsy, Sickle Cell Anemia, Organ Transplants and Congenital and Acquired Heart Disease.
Our program team refused to let the magic of camp go. They have developed an Innovative North Star Reach Camp at Home Program, which includes mailing a box of fun camp stuff to all campers, interactive programs, camp songs, games and hikes. It's not camp as we know it, but it remains a special place for our campers to hang out with their camp friends.
Due to CoVid 19 we have lost a significant amount of the funding that we expected to receive this year. So if you can give even a small gift, it would mean a lot to me.
