It is that time of the years again, where we take to the streets of Boston in support of Run to Homeb Base. I will be racing for the Raytheon Company again and I am thrilled to be supporting this cause. There is nothing better than a long run in the sun with a few good friends (okay, maybe an afternoon on the beach or watching the sunset), but a chance to raise money for a good cause and run....well, that makes my day (ala Dirty harry).
Our veterans are willing to put their health, hearts and lives on the line for a country that they believe in. They do it without a second thought.
It is critical that they are provided every opportunity to come home safely. We strive for that in our work, but war and deployment bring on an added cost; those invisible wounds. If I could work on a radar that could protect the heads and hearts of soliders and thier familes, I absolutely would. In the meantime, I can support the RTHB program, which has been developing some pretty unique and sucessful treatments.
