In March 2020, RAVS staff and volunteers will travel to eastern Arizona for 5 days of field clinics on the White Mountain Apache Reservation http://www.wmat.nsn.us/. The team of roughly 30 veterinary students and 15 professional volunteers will provide free essential veterinary care in an area where veterinary services do not exist. In additional to sterilization surgeries and general veterinary care (vaccines, dewormer, and flea/tick preventatives), RAVS teams will also care for many sick and injured patients. We will also continue our work aiding local tribal health efforts to eradicate Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever - improving the health and welfare of both animals and people in need. Donate today - your support can make the life-and-death difference these animals so desperately need!
