Ruby is a beautiful 3 year old girl diagnosed with a brain disease called H-ABC Leukodystrophy. In October she'll attend her very first H-ABC Family Conference. We are very fortunate to only be two hours from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Almost all of the other children affected with H-ABC do not live close to CHOP. That's not only where the conference will be held, it's where an amazing team of doctors are working on the cure. It is very essential to the goal of clinical trials that we help other families affected with H-ABC to attend this conference. It is Ruby's goal that we raise enough funds to make it easier on the families that want to attend. Many of them have never met the leading doctor in H-ABC research.
Our friends at the Calliope Joy Foundation are gifting $1,500 to the Rare Ruby Fund. It is my goal to at least match that amount and help ease the burden of travel costs for these special families.
Thank you for your consideration and any donations you may add. I cant wait to meet all of our special friends and their families at the conference.
