On December 28, 2018 my life as I knew it changed forever when I was involved in a car accident while riding with my sister's family. My nephew Max sustained severe injuries and tragically passed away on January 20, 2019 at the age of 4.
I am running a 5K in honor of my nephew and asking for your support to raise funds for
The Max McCormick Memorial Foundation.
To honor Max's dream of becoming a fire fighter, my family created the Max McCormick Memorial Foundation with the mission to support local fire fighters, their families and the communities they serve. The Foundation has been meeting with local fire departments to understand where the foundation can make the most meaningful impact to help save lives and raise awareness about fire safety.

Everyone is welcome to cheer me on at the Run Into Summer Race at 7pm on Wednesday, June 12 at Ephraim Curtis Middle School, 22 Pratts Mill Rd., Sudbury. There are multiple events going on that evening including a fun run, a kids run, a 5K, and a 10K so there will be lots of excitement for you to see. There will be ample parking so I hope to see you there!
Thank you for helping me honor Max!
