With the spring sports season cancelled this year, Illinois High School tennis players will make a difference by using tennis as a way to raise funds and awareness for families being affected by COVID-19 in Illinois.
Rally For Relief is a one day fundraising event held from 1:00-1:30 on Saturday, May 30th - the final day of what would have been the State Tournament. Members of high school tennis programs across the state should join the Zoom meeting (information below) and will keep a ball in play for 30 minutes, whether that is against a wall, bouncing a ball on their racket or on the ground, as long as the ball stays in play, anything works.
Our hope is that this act of coming together as a sport will generate funds which will be donated directly to The Greater Chicago Food Depository, a nonprofit that provides meals for those in need. We appreciate your donation, and we look forward to rallying!
When making a donation, please put the High School you are associated with in the Comment section.
