I am currently training to run a solo half marathon on May 16 in order to raise money for CAPI USA, a nonprofit that helps Minnesota’s immigrants, refugees, & native born low-income families. CAPI USA helps Minnesotans in so many incredible ways (click here for the most topical way they are helping right now: https://www.capiusa.org/capi-usa-press-release-mcf-grant-award/). The money I am raising will help these Minnesotans most in need right now due to the social & economic impact of the pandemic.
Please consider donating to this nonprofit.
About where the donations will go:
All funds raised will support CAPI programming, primarily its food shelf, which has seen a drastic increase in service throughout the pandemic. The need for emergency assistance grows as more people suffer from job loss or are unable to leave their homes to get groceries. CAPI also serves a large Hmong community, many elderly, who find comfort in the culturally-specific food that CAPI provides. Donations to CAPI help our vulnerable, and often marginalized neighbors, from going hungry.
Thank you for considering a donation!
