Spring is right around the corner and so is the 41st Fools Five Race in Lewiston, Minnesota on April 7th, 2019. Since 1979, The Fools Five Road Race, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, has brought people from around the world to Lewiston, Minnesota to raise funds for cancer research. Over the years with your help the Fools Five has raised over $2.2 million going to the Eagles Cancer Telethon, Gundersen Medical Foundation, The Hormel Institute for Cancer Research and Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota. If you are planning on participating in the race this year, that is great, you can go to the website www.foolsfive.org to register for the race. There you can see more information about the race and what else is happening that weekend.
In June, it it will have been 15 years since I was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and this February, it will have been 11 years since I had a bone marrow transplant. If you are not planning on participating in the race and you are considering donating to raise funds for cancer research you can click on the donate link. I would like to say thank you in advance.
