Want to join me in making a difference for mental health? I'm racing this year and raising money to benefit the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact.
As a part of my participation in 9 triathlons and open water swims this summer, I will be fundraising to support people who suffer from brain and behavioral illnesses. Mental health continues to be a taboo topic in America -despite the fact that nearly one in five U.S. adults lives with a mental illness!
For me personally, I have found that when I'm riding my bike, in the pool, or on the run I am most at ease with myself. I want to use my outlet and hobby to help others by raising awareness and supporting a good cause.
This year, to support others I will be fundraising alongside the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation to ensure they have the resources to support those who face debilitating barriers and hurdles each and every day.
Any and all donations are welcome - I will be donating $15 on the race day of each of my 9 events. I recommend a donation of $15, in hopes that you can match me for one race day. Thanks in advance for your contribution!
