You can choose to either bike or run (inside or outside) for 30 minutes. Make sure to take a photo of your mileage.
Once you have completed your 30 minute bike or run, submit your distance here and email a picture of your distance from the treadmill, spin bike, or your fitness tracker along with your name and team name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What do you do with the money raised?
Every dollar raised through the Race to Nowhere is used to provide programs and services for people with advanced MS. The MS Achievement Center (MSAC) provides physical and occupational therapy, cognitive stimulation and support group to over 70 people with advanced multiple sclerosis.
Why aren’t you hosting the usual Race at the gym?
Our top priority has always been the wellbeing of our members, even before COVID-19 entered our world. Bringing 200 people together, even spread out thru the day, would add risk for our members, staff and volunteers. As much as we all want to see your sweaty faces and cheer you on, we can’t this year. But we are hoping to be back in the gym whooping and hollering and cheering you to the last seconds of the Race. This year just picture us there while you are riding or running!

Can I raise money for a specific person at MSAC?
IRS regulations prohibit us from designating donations to a specific person. On a personal level, our members are so supportive of each other! They would love to have their friends donations supporting other members of the MSAC!
Do I run or ride?
You can choose for this year’s Race. Awards will be given for the running and riding categories separately.
Where can I ride?
Outdoors on your bike, indoors on a spin bike. Find a local gym to participate.
Where can I run?
The great outdoors is an option or on a treadmill. If you run outdoors you will need to use a fitness tracker that you can capture a picture of to send us the results. (Pics or it didn’t happen!)
How do I turn in my distance?
Complete this form and email a picture of your distance from the treadmill, spin bike, or your fitness tracker along with your name and team name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How many people can be on my team?
As many as you want! Distance awards are based on the average distance for your team. You do have to choose as a team whether you will ride or run as these can’t be combined.
Where can I see the distance I need to win my bracket?
We will update distances on Tuesday and Friday here. Check out the distance to beat and who is in the top spot.
When do you announce the winners?
Winners will be announced during a livestream on Monday March 1st. The link will be emailed to all participants and posted on our Facebook page.

Why is there a charge for the Wellness Challenge?
We want everyone to participate in improving their own wellness, but we need to cover the cost of the program. The small $10 fee will cover the cost of your t-shirt and the prizes.
How many challenges do I have to do?
Each week you need to complete 5 challenges to be entered in the drawing; at least 1 from the fundraising group and at least 3 from the wellness group.
Do we work in teams?
You can certainly gather friends to support each other in the challenges, but weekly drawings will be for individuals. You can also fundraise as a team!
How do I know if I won a prize?
