We recently rescued Queen Eleanor, a nursing mother, and her 5 baby pups from a high-kill shelter. Upon receiving this beautiful family, 1 of the pups was dead but we could not leave this young mother & her babies behind; we continued with the rescue. Within 24-hours, one of the surviving pups crashed and soon after, the remaining 4 pups, all showed signs of criticial distress. The family was rushed to Long Island Veterinary in Plainview, NY and all are now in critical condition/care battling Parvo.
The nursing momma, Queen Eleanor, is a very sweet 1-year old, who has been working very hard to take care of her babies. Being such a young girl, herself, she is stressed-out emotionally and physically from this horrible loss & ordeal. She and her young pups are literally fighting for their lives.
We really need YOUR help to help cover their medical expenses. This very reputable animal hospital (vet) is doing everything possible but the bills are piling-up by the hour.
COVID has hit all of us in different ways. Long Beach Humane Society has not been able to fundraise due to COVID restrictions and now find ourselves in a financial position where we need YOUR help to help THEM! Every dollar counts to help save Queen Eleanor & her surviving puppies. Please donate & together, we can give them life!
