Dear Friends and Family,
The House of QE1 invites you to partner with us as we plan an incredible end-of-year event to celebrate the accomplishments of our house. As Elizabethans, we aspire to be strong women of courage and discernment who are committed to following Christ's lead together with dignity and grace. This year presented unique challenges and the women of this house faced them all with grace. Last year, due to the abrupt end to in-person classes, the house was not able to host its traditional Coronation Ceremony in which the present executive team passes power over to the next executive team. This event is one we all look forward to as it also serves as a time to fellowship with graduating seniors and reminisce on the accomplishments of the past year. It bonds the house as we reflect on the year and look forward to the year ahead. Because this traditional event was so unexpectedly canceled last year, we wish to throw a larger, more royal event this year to make up for our loss. This event will be held safely and within New York State and The King's College Covid guidelines. To do so, we need your help. We will be inviting alumnae to the Coronation Ceremony and following feast. Because of this open invitation, we will be elegantly decorating the City Room, gifting our students with gift baskets in celebration of their academic accomplishments this year, and catering from Dig Inn. In order to do this, we need your help to raise $2000. We hope that you prayerfully consider partnering with us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our students in the midst of a very strange academic year.
