On May 5th, we're taking on America's largest bike ride, the TD 5 Boro Bike Tour, to help low-income New Yorkers shift from barely surviving to thriving. We want you to join us!
New York is the land of opportunity where many of us came to build our lives. We ride the subway together, we go to the same bagel shops, bodegas, and pizza joints. But as we head home our paths diverge significantly.
Some New Yorkers pick up their kids from private school and return to a comfortable, secure home. Others go on to a second or third job, wait for hours at food pantries to ensure their kids are fed and at the end of the day, return to a shelter or a home with overdue rent and no books, long after their children have gone to sleep.
United Way of New York City knows New Yorkers can do better. We go after our community’s toughest challenges, and on May 5th we will RIDE UNITED to help ensure no New Yorker is ever one paycheck away from hunger and homelessness. To create a city where children and families can dare to dream and build a future for themselves.
We know we're not the only ones who believe in the impact we can make—together.
Let’s RIDE UNITED!
P.S. Hey, riders! Find all the tools you need to promote your ride and fundraise — including email samples, social posts and FAQs — in our Rider Toolkit!
