Thank you for your interest in Puzzle Day and the Heidt Center of Excellence!
The Childrens Home has been committed to children and families of this community since 1864 and were doing everything possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes following the states directive to avoid large gatherings. As a result, the 2020 Puzzle Day competition has been canceled.
We always look forward to seeing our families, friends and amazing supporters who support this event every year. Please save the date for next years Puzzle Day, which is scheduled for April 24, 2021.
Puzzle Day directly supports our autism services program and the amazing children, families and staff who comprise a part of our mission that is truly special. While canceling the event is the right thing to do in these unprecedented times, well continue to work to provide resources to those who are impacted by the autism spectrum every day.
We appreciate your support especially in this challenging time! If you would still like to make a 2020 donation, you may do so using the Donate button above. Thank you!
Puzzle Day is a jigsaw puzzle contest to benefit the Heidt Center of Excellence!
Family, Adult, and Teen teams of 2-4 will compete with 500-piece puzzles to see who are the fastest puzzlers. This year, we will also have a special "Diabolical" category for those who find the average jigsaw puzzle too easy!
Spectators may also bid on a selection of themed raffle baskets and shop unique woodwork items made by our students.
Snacks will be available for purchase at the event.
Register your team or purchase a spectator ticket (comes with 5 free raffle tickets) today! Can't make it to Puzzle Day? You can still make a donation here, too!
Puzzle Day is the annual fundraider for The Heidt Center of Excellence by the Childrens Home. The Heidt Center offers a continuum of specialized services for individuals on the autism spectrum, including support services for families. Services include a specialized school program, a transition to adulthood program, and innovative work readiness programs. Our goal is to ensure that the children enjoy a more seamless education and work/life training path.
