Team 'Pugs For Peace' is returning for it's 3rd year of fundraising for the PRoNE 5K. Wally, Odie and Nigel have each come from different circumstances. What they do have in common is that they are rescues. Each received the veterinary care they needed before they were ready for adoption. In their cases that included a major surgery, at age 10 weeks, to correct a congenital defect, a hernia repair, treatment of an eye infection, neutering and immunization updates. It is because of rescues, like PRoNE, that this is possible. Pug Rescue of New England is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. It is supported by adoption fees, donations and fundraising events like the PRoNE 5K. Each rescued pug is loved and cared for while in foster care and awaiting their forever home. Each is evaluated and receives the veterinary care needed before ready for adoption. Please consider a donation to help the many abandoned and surrendered pugs that come into this rescue.
