Please join the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Public Utility Law Section (“PULS”) in the critical mission to assist customers with their utility bills this winter season. As an organization comprised of public utility law practitioners and those who are interested in the public utility realm, PULS has a front-row seat to the importance of utility service and to the consequences customers face when they lose their service. Utility assistance is important every year, but this year has presented unprecedented challenges and the result is that many more people are without the resources to pay their utility bills.
Through our donation drive, PULS has an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in assisting customers with maintaining or, in some cases, restoring their utility service. This year, we have partnered with Dollar Energy Fund, whose mission includes improving the quality of life for households experiencing hardships by providing utility assistance. PULS urges you to donate what you can to this important cause. To help reach our donation goal of $2,500, PULS is pledging to matching the donations in an amount of $500 to Dollar Energy Fund’s mission and the virtual Cool Down for Warmth event on January 28 & 29, 2021.
Every donation counts, because all donations will be matched dollar for dollar by Dollar Energy Fund's partnering utility companies. 100 percent of funds generated through the Cool Down for Warmth campaign will go directly to help our Pittsburgh neighbors in need stay warm this winter.
