PS75 is a neighborhood public elementary school providing quality education to a community whose rich diversity mirrors that of our city. We set high expectations for academic excellence. We are committed to helping each of our children perform at or above grade-level in literacy, math, science and social studies.
At PS75, children of all backgrounds and abilities learn together. This diversity fosters respect and tolerance and prepares students to be confident, responsible citizens of the community and the world.Art, music and technology are integral parts of our academic efforts. Our children’s lessons are enriched by a wide variety of special experiences offered by New York City’s leading cultural institutions.
PS75 believes that the active participation of families is essential to their children’s academic and social success. Parents are welcomed as partners in the learning process. Our energetic and well-organized PTA encourages family involvement and support for the school throughout the year.PS75 was the first school to receive the West Side Spirits’ Blackboard Award for “Elementary School of the Year” (2002).
