Down The Line serves up healthy habits through the sport of tennis to almost 1900 children at 17 locations in the city of Philadelphia. At these locations, including in public parks and schools, none have a budget for water and healthy snacks for their players. We are asking for $2500 to cover half of the $5000 needed to provide every child in our programs water and healthy snacks. Every dollar given will be matched to fund our nutrition program through 2018. These locations include Bodine High School, Philadelphia Tennis Club, Steele School, St. James School, Belmont Middle School, Bridesburg Recreation Center, Poplar Park, Gesu School just to name a few.
