The Yuba River is one of Northern California's gems, but not everybody treats it with the respect that wild places deserve. More than 700,000 people visit the Yuba each year, and for the past 20 years, volunteers have collected nearly 220,000 pounds of garbage & recycling - and we're going to clean up the river once again on Saturday, September 15th. By cleaning up the Yuba River, we'll be helping to save hundreds of wild animals -- river otters, turtles, salmon, ospreys and eagles -- from deadly human debris, like six pack rings, plastic bags, shards of glass, and other nasty garbage. Please sponsor my day cleaning up the river -- your donation supports the annual River Cleanup and the River Ambassador program, too. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you. For the Yuba!
