Child Rescue Coalition has identified over 71 million IP addresses worldwide sharing and downloading sexually explicit images and videos of children as young as infants. As many as 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys will experience some form of sexual abuse before the age of 18. The average age of victims is between 7 and 13 years old. 85% of offenders that view child sexual abuse material are hands on abusers and these predators typically have between 50-100 victims in the course of their lifetime With the progression and accessibility of technology, the circulation of child sexual abuse material has exploded worldwide.
Child Rescue Coalition is a non-profit organization that rescues children from sexual abuse by building technology for law enforcement, free of charge to track, arrest and prosecute child predators. Every day Child Rescue Coalition monitors 30-50 million records linked to child sexual abuse and reports its findings to law enforcement. Child predators are trading photos, videos and documents in unregulated file sharing networks and chat rooms, and Child Rescue Coalition is helping to expose these abusers. Child Rescue Coalition identifies these IP addresses with their Child Protection System, or CPS Technology, and gives it to law enforcement to assist in locating these IP addresses sharing this illegal material so that the predators can be apprehended; and any children rescued. As of today, 96 countries worldwide are using this technology and it has lead to the arrest of 12,000 child predators and has analyzed over 21 billion pieces of data related to the sexual abuse of children. Child Rescue Coalition also has started to offer their technology to organizations with an online presence to enhance the ongoing monitoring of current employees who may be possessing or sharing child sexual abuse material online. This will add an additional layer of safety for the communities they serve.
