Hello friends and family!
Despite the title, no I am not trying to relive my youth and attend prom again. 😉 But I am trying to help some teens in need this coming prom season. It might be hard to believe based on the weather, but springtime is around the corner and for seniors in high school it’s a very exciting time thinking about prom, graduation and all the fun senior activities. Unfortunately there are so many young adults who are living in foster care who have financial constraints and many don’t even get to participate in some of these activities. Prom is a rite of passage and every teen should be able to experience it all to the fullest! So, I am once again partnering with Plummer Youth Promise (the same amazing organization that we work to gather school supplies for) to help teens have an unforgettable prom experience - from their attire, grooming needs, prom tickets, flowers, transportation and after prom events.
So how can you help?
👉🏻 You can give a cash donation via this link and we will use your funds towards purchasing items we need for these teens.
👉🏻 Do you have any connections with a local florist (in the Danvers/Salem, MA area) that may be able to assist with donations? If so, please help me connect with them.
👉🏻 Do you have connections with a local salon(s) for hair, makeup and nails (in the Malden, MA area) that may be able to assist with donations? If so, please help me connect with them.
** All donations (personal or business) are fully tax deductible and a receipt will be provided after your payment is processed.⭐️ Please remember, every little bit helps. If every person that reads this donated $5 we would meet all of the students needs to help them have a magical and memorable senior prom! I⭐️I know we all have our causes we support and I thank you all very much for reading this. Please feel free to share this if you feel so compelled. The more we can spread the word, the more students we can help!
