Please join us and provide relief to the most vulnerable in the Asian American community during COVID-19 pandemic.
Love Our Vulnerable and Elderly (LOVE) is a partnership among nonprofits to serve vulnerable Asian Americans in Orange County. We are asking for donations, supplies, food and volunteers. This is an ongoing effort to coordinate packaging and distributing of food and basic necessities to thousands in our community.
Seniors are the most high-risk and vulnerable population during this pandemic. Other vulnerable include the homeless, disabled, and immuocompromised. They are facing difficulty in getting food due to the shelter-in-place order from Governor Newson. Your willingness to help our vulnerable and seniors is even more crucial now.
LOVE is a collaborative effort among: The Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center (AASCSC), Boat People SOS, The Cambodian Family Community Center, Hope Community Services, Herald, KCS Health Center, Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCPIACA), Orange County Herald Center, Southland Integrated Services, South Asian Network, VietCare, Vietnamese American Cancer Foundation (VACF).
We are grateful for our donors: Advance OC, Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT), National Asian American Community Foundation (NAACF), St. Joseph Health and Hospital, and In-kind support provided by Advancing Cancer Control Together (a project of Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation).
