It has always been a goal of mine to complete a marathon and what better way to do it then run for an amazing charity like Project Purple! This past year our community experienced the loss of "Auntie Pat" to pancreatic cancer. She was the most loving, caring and kind person and is deeply missed by many. I am greatful to have the opportunity to run the 2020 Chicago Marathon on her behalf and for Project Purple.
Love you Auntie Pat! #CancerSucks
Project Purple has a mission of a world without pancreatic cancer and our runners help us get one step closer with every stride.
Pancreatic cancer will become the #2 killer of all major cancers in the USA by 2020 and we need your help to fund more research and help more families fight.
