Join us in Chicago for the 2020 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Project Purple has a mission of a world without pancreatic cancer and our runners help us get one step closer with every stride.
Pancreatic cancer will become the #2 killer of all major cancers in the USA by 2020 and we need your help to fund more research and help more families fighting.
In 1986 my Mother, Richard IV's grandmother, was stricken with pancreatic cancer. Janet Bell Hughes died three months after diagnosis at the age of 62. She was among the most positive, loving women that I have ever known. She adored life.
33 years since her death this vicious disease still haunts society. On October 11th Richard and I will be running the Chicago marathon in her memory to raise money to find a cure and to bring about public awareness. All of the money raised goes directly to the cause.
Please consider making a donation today. Richard and I will forward you our bib numbers so you can track us. There are few guarantees in life but take this to the bank. Richard's time will be faster than mine.
Thanks so much. Cheers!
