Culprit Cafe has donated thousands to non-profits and various organizations over the years. This year we are teaming up with Project Purple, as it is a nonprofit I feel is serving communities through awareness, fitness and action.
The last two years have been both challenging and rewarding with the birth of my first child, opening a second restaurant, getting t-boned by a semi, and cancer affecting multiple family members. All of these experiences have brought out the best in me, and helped me to focus less on my struggles and more on others, by appreciating everyone that is around me.
In the past year, I’ve met some of the most motivated, determined and selfless runners affiliated with Project Purple. I’m supporting these people and this organization because of their dedication toward helping improve the lives of patients and their families.
The goal of this page is provide an avenue for anyone to donate, but it also serves as promotional material for my event March 7th. I am donating pretzels to restaurants along Farnam St., which they will sell and pair with food and drinks. Proceeds will go directly to Project Purple.
I would also like to encourage anyone to join me for a run that day as well. I will be going back and forth from 16th to 40th and Farnam most of the day. Get out, go for a walk/run or bike ride along Farnam. Enjoy the day, support small businesses, and help fight pancreatic cancer.
