Every day, we connect with survivors of natural disasters throughout the United States, providing personalized coaching to expedite their recovery and gain financial stability. During the tornado outbreak on Easter 2020, a total of 140 twisters touched down across 10 states, inflicting catastrophic damage and taking 34 lives. The strongest tornado touched down in southern Mississippi, producing winds of 190 mph, reaching a width of over two miles, and causing eight deaths.
We are currently providing services to two low-income clients who both lost a close family member and their home in the Mississippi tornados. Madison and Stephanie are now in need of housing, transportation, and other necessities such as eyeglasses and phone. Due to their exceptional situations, MMI employees are raising funds to help meet their needs.
All funds received will be split evenly between these two clients and MMI will cover all administrative costs outside of GoFundMe Charity and PayPal Giving Fund's nominal payment processing costs.
