Hey Guys, if you are reading this then you are awesome.
A little over a year ago I had a bad accident that left me with a concussion. 3 weeks after that I started having incredible dizzy spells that would last all day long until I would get "vertigo". I had my whole vestibular system checked and everything came back fine but it was still happening. It wasn't until my wonderful wife (6 months pregnant at the time with the little guy you see here) woke up to me convulsing uncontrollably. The doctors said it might be a one-off thing but if it happens again, it is likely epilepsy. Two days later it happened again.
This past year has been full of doctors visits, hospital stays, hospital bills, countless seizures, and alot of stress trying to manage this condition. My wife has been incredibly supportive, my family as well and my support groups have helped me along the way. This is a really tough disorder to live with, as medications are not a cure-all and they also have terrible side-effects. As of now, there is no cure for epilepsy, but thats where you can help. Please take a look into this disorder and feel free to donate whatever you can to help spread to word. We will be taking part in this awesome walk on the 22nd to help bring awareness and hopefully one day, anyone with this disorder can be relieved and can know what it's like to feel "normal."
