We are registered for the Sept. 15, 2018 Pedal the Petrified bike tour hosted by NPC Friends and Family.
This tour ride was created to raise money for scholarships to benefit the students of Northland Pioneer College. NPC is the only comprehensive community college in Arizona that serves three Native American tribal areas as well as all of Navajo and Apache counties. NPC Friends and Family provides need-based scholarships for NPC students to help them achieve the goal of a college education and a path to a better life.
In particular, the hardships that are faced by young Native Americans in Northeastern Arizona are profound. Poverty is rampant, educational attainment levels are low and many never get the opportunity to go to college. Education is the key to a better future for them and their families. That's why your support is vitally needed and greatly appreciated
This year's goal is to raise $45,000 to help the students Northland Pioneer College. Here's what your tax-deductible gift can do.
$75 Provides one credit of tuition
$216 Provides tuition for one 3-credit class
$432 Provides tuition for one student to attend half-time (6 credits)
$864 Provides tuition for one student to attend full-time (12 credits)
Any amount is greatly appreciated and needed. Please donate if you can. If we can help even one student complete their journey, it'll be worth every bit of that effort.
