Precept Wine has partnered with the Eugene Marathon to not only encourage its employees to get moving, but to support a wonderful non-profit – The Academy for Precision Learning (APL).
Kirk & Erin Brewer are co-founders of APL (www.aplschool.org) – an independent, inclusive K-12 school that serves students across the autism spectrum alongside their typically developing peers—which opened its doors in 2007. Morgan Brewer was one of the first four students at APL and she graduated in June 2019, and is now thriving in the APL alumni community. What started with four students in the basement of a synagogue on Mercer Island has grown into a thriving K-12 program with over 115 students in Seattle’s University District. Thanks to the ongoing support of Precept and other leading companies and donors in the greater Seattle area, APL is able to continue to grow and evolve to reach many more deserving students who can flourish in this unique and inclusive program.
