UPDATE 5 (Friday, May 8th, 2020, 4:00PM)
All, we are so honored to have your participation in our PPE for Wisconsin campaign. Today we decided to close our campaign and make our funds immediately available so that doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals could obtain much needed PPE. We have partnered with Wisconsin Medical Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, to leverage their expertise in distributing PPE to areas that need it the most. They'll be getting PPE directly to unaffiliated medical offices that are serving vulnerable, low-income, and rural populations. Thank you again for your heart and resources in standing together with us to fight the covid-19 pandemic. Together we are Wisconsin Strong!
UPDATE 4 (Sunday, April 19th, 2020, 5:15PM) Don't let this happen in the State of Wisconsin! - It turns out that 10%-20% of US Covid-19 cases are health care workers https://apnews.com/daeaccea8ed06a54df4ba39d41776bc2 In fact, 21% of Covid-19 cases in Ohio are health care workers. Don't let this happen here in Wisconsin. We want you to help us continue to spread the words about the PPE for Wisconsin campaign. Tell your friends, neighbours, workplaces, and encourage them to donate and spread the word! Thanks to your support, we are currently standing at $18,525, only less than $1,500 away from our first goal. As soon as we reach the first goal of $20,000, we will immediately put the money to use to support our medical workers and frontline responders. Thanks again for your support. Share our campaign with everyone you know! Thank you!
UPDATE 3 (Saturday, April 11th, 2020, 2:54PM) - A grateful shoutout to 135 donors who "are doing something about it" to support our frontline heroes in the fight against Covid-19. Given the urgency of the situation, we have decided to make $20,000 as our first goal. As soon as we reach this goal, we will immediately turn around to work with the State of Wisconsin to put the fund to use in aquiring Personal Protective Gown/Coveralls. This change will allow us to take actions NOW instead of waiting until we raise all $3MM. Thanks again for all your support. Together we will get through this.
UPDATE 2 (Monday, April 6th, 2020, 8:21PM) - We are so grateful that you and so many Wisconsinites have taken actions to support the PPE for Wisconsin campaign. Today the Department of Health Services of the State of Wisconsin has reiterated that there are not enough PPE for Wisconsin health care workers and other first responders such as law enformence. https://www.nbc15.com/content/news/DHS-expects-shortages-of-PPE-to-continue-569424451.html
While our campaign has gained more attention from the media and potential corporate donors, now the urgency is more than ever. Please spend a few minutes to share this campaign with your friends, your network in the media, and corporate leaders you know. Together we will prevail for our front line heroes, who are our husbands, wives, sons, daughters, and neighbours! God bless!
UPDATE 1 (Thursday, April 2nd, 2020, 10:26AM) - We appreciate all donors who are pitching in to support the PPE for Wisconsin campaign. We also want to recognize the Wisconsin Medical Society, WisMed Assure, Gener8tor, Wisconsin Women's Business Initiatives, Inc.'s sponsorship and support!
We all know that we have a severe shortage in PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) for our healthcare workers and other first responders in the nation. Wisconsin is not immune.
LET'S DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Today we at Fenrici Brands, in partnership with the Madison-based 501c(3) Non-Profit Center for Community Stewardship www.community-stewardship.org, are launching PPE for Wisconsin. This fundraiser will help us raise $3 million dollars to acquire 120,000 Personal Protective Gowns, and use a chartered airliner to bring them to the State of Wisconsin to be distributed to frontline responders.
Why Personal Protective Gown?
Personal Protective Gowns is a key item of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that protects against infectious substances including patient blood, body fluids, secretions and particulate matter in air, also waterproof. While the whole world is focusing on masks, we believe it is critically important to acquire Personal Protective Gowns now. We believe that the worldwide manufacturing capability for the Personal Protective Gowns will be soon overwhelmed by orders from competition nations and states, just as what's going on with the masks.
Why Charter an Airliner?
Given the COVID-19 crisis, major airliners have dramatically reduced their regular intercontinental flights. The Air Express Services are completely overwhelmed. As of March 27th, both Fedex and UPS have suspended their on-time delivery guarantees. So in order to get the much needed PPE out of manufacturers overseas, a chartered airliner will be the quickest approach, and likely the most affordable per unit price.
What Have We Done So Far?
So far we have acquired and delivered 10,500 KN95 masks to the Department of Health Services in the State of Wisconsin. We have another 20,000 KN95 masks, 2,000 Face Shields, 40,000 Surgical Masks and 6,000 Personal Protective Gowns en route using International Express Services. These products are ALREADY PAID FOR with our own funds. Since air cargo capacity is drying up, many of our products are stuck at the airport despite having paid for international air express services.
How will we distribute the PPE within Wisconsin?
We are going to work under the guidance of State of Wisconsin COVID-19 Emergency Command Center, Department of Health Services, and other state/local government entities to do our best to distribute PPE to hospitals and first responder organizations with most urgent needs.
What Do We Need You to Do?
Time is of the essence; we need you to act today and donate (no amount too small or too large) towards our goal of $3 Million Dollars.
Reaching our goal will allow us to take advantage of the overseas manufacturing capacity and bring 120,000 pieces of Personal Protective Gowns to the State of Wisconsin to protect our heroes at home.
As you can imagine the situation is changing at a rapid pace and the sooner we act, the sooner we are able to get the lifesaving equipment to our front line BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
We will be providing updates of our status via this GoFundMe page. Follow along as we navigate this journey.

We will share everything we do with 100% transparency.

Please email your questions. We will do our best to answer them.
Q: Should we focus on masks since needs are great?
A: We completely agree that the needs for masks are great. That's why as an organization we took steps to do as much as we can to bring in the masks (A total of 30,500 KN95 masks, 40,000 surgical masks.) However, given our observation of the mask market, it gives us urgency to bring in Personal Protective Gowns (PPG) before the whole world shifts toward the PPG market as the current mask market. That's why we decide to focus our effort on PPG before it is too late! Thank you so much for your question and support!
Q: What happens if the campsign doesn't reach $3 million dollar goal or the needs have been addressed?
A: In the event we don't reach our $3 million dollar goal, we will determine other best channels to bring PPE to our frontline fighters in the State. When the need for PPE has diminished, we will identify appropriate organizations to donate the rest of the funds to support additional needs of our frontline responders. We will share everything we do with 100% transparency. At this point, we believe the need is great and responses are great as well! Thank you for your support!
Q: Can we include midwives in the distribution?
A: We believe there are many, many people who are working on the frontline and critical areas. They all deserve care and protection. We will definitely keep that in mind in working with the state authority, educate and influence whenever we can.
Q: Will this big shipment be distributed by DHS?
A: The shipment will be distributed in partnership with our non-profit partner, Center for Community Stewardship, under the guidance of DHS and other government entities. Right now this is a fundraising sponsored and supported by us as private organzations. We don't believe that the state government can commit too much at this point.
