This year I have decided to run the Portland Half Marathon (it may be a cry for help or quarter life crisis...who knows). In addition to running, I have decided to fundraiser for ALS and for The Angel Fund. The Angel Fund is a non profit working to support ALS research and scientific investigations aiming to find a cause, treatment, and cure.
As some of you know, one of my best friends, Taylor Kennedy’s Dad, Ratt, was diagnosed with ALS 2 years ago. Taylor and Ratt and their entire family are quite possibly the strongest people I know. I draw inspiration from them every single day in their positivity and ambition. Aside from being the president of the Angel Fund, Ratt has done so much for the ALS community.
ALS has affected the lives of so many people including more close friends than I mention here. I ask you to contribute what you can to help find a cure (and if Ratt has any involvement there it will happen soon).
Give $5 or $500 anything you can will help us kick ALS’s ass. Read more about the Angel Fund here :https://theangelfund.org/about/
