HELLO beautiful people!!! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit my page and read what I have to say! :)
In 2009 I joined Khmer Girls in Action as a youth organizer, as I recognized the injustices my community was up against and being a member of KGA I was able to understand and connect root causes to fight for systemic change. As a youth leader, I advocated for language justice, healthcare for all, and school based wellness centers for youth and teens. After completing my undergrad, I continue working within my community through KGA as a Program Coordinator. Being a part of this KICKASS Southeast Asian organization, I had the chance to learn and apply for Seeding Change.
This summer I had the opportunity to be a part of Seeding Change (YAY, CLAPS) which is a National Fellowship Program for Asian American Organizing and Civic Engagement. A month ago, Seeding Change cultivated a safe, fun and educational space where all 20 Fellows gathered together to get to know local communities and learn how grassroots communities organize, develop leadership, and build power to win! Thanks to Seeding Change, I have been able to GROW, LEARN and DEVELOP relationships with 20 other BADASS AAPI organizers from all over the world (WOWOW) who I can do movement work with in the future!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE donate to Seeding Change so that YOU can help support future Seedlings’ growth, & if you are unable to, please share this page to sustain this dopeass program!
