On Sunday, June 23, our team from the Psychiatry Neuroimaging Lab (PNL) will be running in the 2019 Boston Athletic Association’s (B.A.A.) 10K® road race to support Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital (BWFH ).
The PNL Tract Team will be raising money for the Brigham Health Bridge Clinic, a place where individuals with substance abuse disorders can seek help and be connected to the care they need. The new clinic will provide rapid and low-threshold access to addiction treatment. Any substance abuse patient will receive care from the clinic, but there will be a focus on those addicted opioids and alcohol, have infectious complications from injection drugs, or are pregnant or recently gave birth.
I would greatly appreciate any donations you give to help and support this project and the Brigham!
Considering the current opioid crisis, early interventions can save lives and I would be happy if you support this project together with me!
