Why I Ride?
I'm riding in the Pan Mass Challenge to support my family and friends who have been affected by Cancer.
How I will train?
I'm going to ride my new carbon fiber road bike throughout the spring and summer to prepare for the PMC's 192 mile ride the first weekend in August. Last year, as you see in the pictures, I trained and practiced rode in preparation for joining the team this year in 2019. I will be training with my good friend Conor, his Dad, my Dad and others on the Boston Bruins Foundation team.
Where will my $5000 donation come from?
I'm currently planning to add a new High School division in my Dad's 5 year old 3-on-3 hockey tournament. This annual tournament is run just like the NHL over-time rules with 3 skaters against 3 skaters with a goalie only our tournament has no off-side rule. This makes for exciting and speedy hockey!
We are also selling raffle tickets for autographed bruins shirts and other prizes to help raise funds.
Why I'm excited to be hosting a Tournament and raising funds for Cancer?
I feel like this is a great cause that I want to support and help those in need. It's important to support others and this is one way that I'm able to do it. It's also a really fun day both for the Hockey tournament and the PMC ride weekend.
