This year I celebrate my 13th PMC! I am excited for the first weekend in August to be here and hit the road with all the humming of the bikes.
This year will have a different tone and feeling for me. Cancer has hit my family quite hard this year, and I have two very special people I am dedicating this year's ride to.
My mother-in-law, Dianna Tozzi was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in December, and passed a few weeks later just after Christmas. She was surrounded by family and friends in our house for her final days, and is now peacefully watching over us. We are so grateful for the care and dedication she gave to all of us and we miss her terribly.
My brother Bill was diagnosed with a brain tumor, on March 31. He had surgery a few days later and is now home. He has quite a long road ahead and we are all very lucky and blessed to have him with us to continue to spread his positive energy, and face this beast at full throttle.
So, with the PMC, we still have much work to do. As we continue to set records with our fundraising, anyone anywhere is still at risk. The advances in medicine to treat cancer has advanced greatly and will continue to do so as long as we continue to fundraise through this and many other cancer fundraising events.
Thank you for your continued support of the PMC and me as I continue on this journey to payback what was given to me.
