Poor little Benz is feeling terrible! He started to turn yellow and was very lethargic, so he was rushed to our friends at Gulf Coast Veterinary Services for emergency care. There was no way we were going to give up on this sweet little guy! His blood tests seemed to indicate that his liver wasn't functioning properly, his blood was clotting too slowly, and he was very pale. After receiving IV fluids he perked up and started demanding attention from everyone in the ER. Benz let us know he's a fighter, so we got out the credit card and approved further treatment. A blood transfusion, antibiotics, more fluids, and lots of Vitamin K has improved his condition greatly. He's not out of the woods yet and will need another transfusion, as well monitoring for a few days to make sure he remains stable. Will you help us help Benz? As a 501c3 nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of our donors to help rescue and rehabilitate little kittens like Benz, as well as the many other cats and dogs in our program. Your donations will help repair broken legs, treat pneumonia or parvovirus, mend broken jaws, remove dead teeth, eradicate heartworms, as well as do the routine vaccinations, deworming, and spay/neuter surgeries required to get these precious faces on the road to our rescue partners. Please, help us help them. Thank you! Timothy
