Our names are Ashley Yonchak and Julia Ward. We are juniors at the North Andover High School and play for the girls varsity soccer team. Together, we have decided that we want to raise money for Soccer Without Borders, in order to bring our community together for a bigger cause. Soccer Without Borders is a nonprofit organization that works in underprivileged countries to support children through education and team building methods to give them opportunities to grow.
Here in North Andover, we know that we are very fortunate to have such a wonderful youth program which allows young children to play and learn together even at early ages. Since both of us have grown up within this program, we thought it would be perfect to bring the North Andover Soccer Association together in order to benefit those who are not as lucky as we are. In order to achieve our goal, we have decided to host a soccer jamboree for the youth players. We will have soccer matches, raffles, music, food, etc. in order to make the day as fun as possible. We hope that with your help, we can give other children a chance learn, grow, and develop a love for the sport that had given us all so much.
