Here is a message from Tim Flynn, the President and CEO of the Everything Special Needs Fundraiser:
Thank you for participating in the WALK For EVERYBODY
Everything Special Needs changes lives. When you think of someone who has special needs, you often feel sympathetic and begin to think about their struggles. It’s true, when a family member has special needs, it is a struggle. Aside from the at home difficulties, more importantly there are numerous struggles in finding the necessary services that are available. These services are vital in order to live a full productive life, but unfortunately they can be almost impossible to find. Everything Special Needs has been
developed to respond to this information need of parents - those who have just learned their child has special needs, and those who have lived with this reality for some time, but who have reached a transition point where they need new information or renewed support. This organization provides a starting point for families in their search for information and resources that makes their lives a bit easier.
By participating in the WALK For EVERYBODY and raising funds to help families of special needs children, you will make an impact on the lives of those with special needs, as well as those who care for them. In fact, you are the key to success for the WALK and to helping Everything Special Needs keep its commitment to help everyone with a special need. As a WALK For EVERYBODY participant, you have committed to raising funds to help support. Everything Special Needs in its commitment to helping families of special needs children. Start by setting a fundraising goal for yourself. Aim high, there are families counting on you. You and your team can work together to raise funds; you can raise funds online, and there are also some fun, and easy, ways that you can raise money on your own. Top fundraisers use a combination of all three methods. However you choose to raise funds, get started early and start asking. Again, we want to say thank you for stepping up and committing to raise money to help families of special needs children and help change their lives.
