Hurricane Michael left in its wake a devastating blow to the Panhandle. Kyle Vincent, one of our Pivot Team members, went to assist his in-laws in their clean up. He was shocked by what he saw: leveled houses, knocked down buildings, tipped over rail cars, roads completely destroyed; people with no water or power living in tents along the roadside. With electricity and water restored, the area is now in its rebuilding phase.
Thanks to Kyle's leadership, Pivot is responding by asking its clients, family and friends to donate to the people of Panama City as we partner with the Deerpoint Lake Assembly of God in their rebuilding effort. The costs to rebuild are immeasurable. We have set our fundraising goal at $100,000 by November 7.
We will head out there on November 8, and they will tell us exactly where the money is going. In the meantime, we need to raise as much as we can as soon as we can.
On behalf of Kyle, his family, the staff at Pivot and all the folks who were hurt by this powerful storm, thank you for your donation and for your trust in us to get the job done.
PS: Please share this link with your groups of friends and family as well on your own social media channels. Thanks!
